Chapter 90 Allotments For 1950 Road Work Named

Middlesex County Commissioners Chairman Concord Melvin C Rogers announced Chapter 90 maintenance and construction funds for 1950 highway programs. Concord totals include 4500 for maintenance and county and town shares of 1500 each, plus Main Street allocations of 12500 state 6250 county and 6250 town totaling 25000.

The West Concord planning board met at the parsonage to finalize arrangements for the hobby show at the West Concord Union church today from 2 to 9 pm Honorary chair Rev Edwin B Nylen leads. Concord man grilled in DC over Brinks Boston holdup

FBI questioned Edward J. Varley of Fielding street in Washington about the 1.5 million Brinks robbery in Boston three weeks earlier. He was released after suggesting the incident was a prank and reportedly claimed he would return to Boston to get some of that drink money.
