George B Erickson a Concord County Club Agent received the National County Club Agents Association Distinguished Service Award at its annual Chicago meeting. The citation commends his outstanding work with Middlesex County Extension. This marks the first year the award was given. Two other club agents from other regions were honored.

Car of George Mulcahy Stolen in Waltham Heist

A car owned by George D. Mulcahy of 6 Main Street was stolen in Waltham during a night of two stick ups in the Watch City. The vehicle was found the next afternoon in Newton near where suspects left their victim. The car suffered no damage.
