Wood robbed in Concord assault on street near Charlestown Bridge

Cord Norman S Wood Jr was robbed Sunday afternoon near a deserted warehouse district after leaving the North Station area. A gunman about five six, wearing a dark sweater and gray felt hat, demanded a dollar and change and fled in a car. Wood reported the crime to the Drive It Company and police, later staying with friend Thomas Edmunds in Cambridge. Edmunds lent money to return to Concord as authorities investigate.

Concord couple marks 7th anniversary in proud memory

The Rideouts celebrate seven years together while honoring their son Percy Adams Rideout who died in action in France near the end of World War I.
