Maynard Country Club Ends 1944 Season
The Maynard Country Club closed its 1944 season after a good year amid war conditions. With about half the members in service, the course was kept in first class condition and soldiers voted the club as a welcoming place for servicemen who played rounds and were often supplied with clubs and balls by members. The club plans a near future party to start next year as members stay away to serve.
