West Concord Builder Beharrell Dies After Years of Growth

Isaac Reed Beharrell a longtime West Concord builder known for shaping the town and four to five hundred homes in Concord and neighboring areas died suddenly. Born September 19 1863 in Amherst Nova Scotia he moved to Lowell at 14 and to West Concord in 1893. He was a member of Concord Lodge West Concord Village Improvement Society and served as measurer of wood and bark. Funeral services were held at West Concord Union Church with numerous friends in attendance and burial at Jewep Hollow cemetery.
