At the A O H auxiliary meeting held Tuesday night, Margaret McCarthy was chosen president with Mary Moynihan as vice president and Margaret Murphy as recording secretary. Inez Scully became financial secretary and Mary Driscoll the treasurer. Dr T BH Grady was named physician. The Maynard football team plans a Saturday game in Billerica to prove superiority over the Marmardites after Thanksgiving day defeat comments. If weather permits they will travel next week to Lawrence to face the Wood Worsted Mill team if snow is absent.

Formal decrees in two suits of the Old Dominion Copper Mining and Smelting Company against A. S. Bigelow entered in the supreme court call for Bigelow to pay Old Dominion $2,045,726 with interest from 1898. The actions claim recovery of secret profits Bigelow made by reorganizing the Old Dominion company.

The Woman's Club for General Reading heard Miss Louella Shattuck of Pepperell present a histori cal talk on Jamestown linking early American history to Indian traditions. She recalled Civil War era memories and brought the elder and younger members together with an audience focus on 15th century to present times.
