The Enterprise will hereafter be headquartered at the store of C. H. Persons in Riverside block where items of news advertisements or subscriptions may be left and will be promptly attended to.
Local items note religious society activities, weddings, burglaries, school updates, and civic events in Maynard. Highlights include the Rebekans and Red Men elections, a Maynard Court of Foresters anniversary, the Mack of new businesses, and upcoming concerts and charity sales with multiple local figures and venues named.
All items for the Enterprise should be directed to A. A. Wheeler, the correspondent, for prompt attention. Subscriptions for the Enterprise are also accepted.
ACTON CENTRE reports the parsonage is being painted by Frank Jones to match the church color. Miss Eunice L Noyes visits Worcester friends. Village Improvement Society plans a fair next Tuesday December 15 with a good time overall. Mr Newcomb the village blacksmith moves to G Livermore's home. Walter Richardson and wife visited his mother Mrs Mary D Richardson on Sunday.
Orders for advertising or Enterprise news items left at H. L. Whitcomb's book store will receive prompt attention Subscriptions to the Enterprise are accepted at this location and at the Post Office.
Miss Olive Gage hosted the Musical Club on Monday. The final subscription dance occurred Saturday at the G A R hall. Dr and Mrs Edward W Emerson held a reception Friday for Miss Susie E Arthur. Mr and Mrs David Battrick celebrated sixty fifth wedding anniversary Tuesday. Mrs C T Jackson and Miss Lidan E Jackson hosted Thursday from 4 to 6 for Miss Susie E Arthur. Mrs Alice B Linden hosted a large Monday evening reception 7 to 10 for daughter Millie Linden on her eighteenth birthday.
Concord financier Harvey Wheeler proposes a portfolio of First Mortgage Bonds and Preferred Stocks returning 53 64 and 7 percent interest. The securities are described as first class with secured properties. A note requests investigation into the offering.
