Mrs Henry Brooks of Concord is named chair man for the Concord district of the Community Crusade part of Greater Boston 1939 Community Fund Campaign. Mrs Helen Bay Lawrence Rites Held in West Concord

Funeral services for Mrs Helen Bay Lawrence wife of Wayne G Lawrence were held at two o clock yesterday afternoon from her home 8 Pine Street West Concord. She died Sunday after an illness of several months born December 28 1889 in Lowell daughter of Mrs Clara H Leighton and the late Martin Leighton. She came to Concord as a girl forty two years ago and attended public schools here graduating from Concord High School. She was a member of West Concord Union Church and a former member of Willow Lodge Rebekah. Surviving are her husband her mother two sisters Miss Marguerite Leighton West Concord Miss Clara Leighton Michigan two daughters Miss Ruth Lawrence and Mrs Kenneth Manosh Jean Lawrence both of West Concord and a son Rugell J Lawrence of West Concord. Burial was in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
