A large deer, shot by Ed Perkins during a hunt at Jackson New Hampshire, is on display in a local Bedford market attracting many visitors. Judge Kennedy of Newton will deliver the Christmas address to the Bedford Civic Club on Wednesday evening December 21, likely drawing a sizable crowd in appreciation of Loomis efforts in arranging the speaker.
In South Sudbury residents are urged to shop at Chris Tie’s and prepare for the Maynard annual officers election this Wednesday. A Memorial church sale is planned Thursday afternoon and evening by the Ladies Benevolent Society with usual tables. Congregational church services feature Rev. B Whiting on The Star of Bethlehem. Miss Todd and Miss Coburn host Musical club guests Tuesday at Mrs Coburn's home. The Laures Aid of Trinity church met at Mrs Richardson's. Members sewed before departure supper then attended the Marvard Musical clubs concert. A touring program promises new melodies and Lyceum offerings for the season.
