Rasye Grandell died after a lone illness and had lived in this town for four decades. He worked in the card room at Assabet Mills before retirement and was a member of the Finnish Congregational Church Finnish Temperance Society and the Knights of Kaleva. Surviving are his wife Anna a daughter Mrs John Bowie and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Finnish Congregational Church with Rev Eino Hamalainen officiating. Bearers were John Kokko Iimari Junno Mikko Nokelaine John Lehto Weeti Taival and George Hekkala. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery under Fowler Funeral Service.
