Bedford Housing Project Approved for Town
Bedford officials voted to develop a housing project on a selected site with a street laid out prior to construction. The units will be five rooms each, of frame with stores, to be rented by occupants over the years. Frank Yeomas of Lexington secured the contract for construction. The Bedford Housing Authority lists Earl S. Atwood as chairman and Francis H. Kelly as treasurer among others. Plans and an outline of the new buildings are on display at Charles Steffanelli’s store.
