Miss Alice T Lee daughter of Mr and Mrs George M Lee of Barretts Mill road West Concord will marry Donald A MacNeil son of the late Mr and Mrs Arthur MacNeil of Springfield in a 36 clock wedding at Our Lady Help of Christians Church West Concord The couple are both graduates of Fitchburg State Teachers College Miss Lee has taught at Browne School Watertown and Marion previously MacNeil is a West Springfield High School faculty member and assistant football coach.
Concord reports the death of Mrs. Smith Owen Dexter widow of the late Rev Dexter at Westport Point after a short illness on Monday August 14. She lived in Concord over 25 years. survivors include three children Mrs. Richard T. Loring of Baltimore Dr. Smith Owen Dexter of New York and Dr. Lewis Dexter of Cambridge two sisters Mrs. Arthur Tucker and Mrs Charles Pratt of New Bedford burial was at Swan Point Providence.
Concord pilot Fred Adams steered the Nyala to an easy win in Newport Rhode Island on the King's Cup course from Brenton's Reef to the Batten Torpedo Range buoy. Nyala beat Seven Seas by roughly 17 12 minutes as Adams led from the start in light southerly conditions.

Two tourists from Illinois were injured when their car left the turn at the Rotary in West Concord near the Concord Reformatory. The 12:15 noon crash on Wednesday involved Mrs Georgie Gastfeld and passenger Mrs Felichna Milnels, both from Chicago and Evanston respectively, with both treated at Emerson Hospital and released.
Mrs Santora born January 1 1908 in Oxbury daughter of Charles Olsen and M Sinclair. She lived in Concord 20 years and survived by husband Joseph Olsen parents Charles and Mrs Olsen 12 Derby Street West Concord grandfather Netly Olsen. She belonged to Helping Hand Society Young Republican Club and West Concord Union Church and is buried in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
Mrs Jennie L Ball Ham longtime resident died at 68 Central Street after a long illness aged 74. Born in Princeton she lived here 36 years and was active in Federated Church and the Social Reading Club. Survived by husband Samuel B Ham a daughter Mrs Oliver Lincoln a son Finn C Ham a brother Harry M Ball and sister Mrs Nora M Jones. Funeral arrangements in charge.
The Concord playground program ends its 1039 season with Rideout and Emerson fields hosting tournaments and games. Assistant supervisor Ralph F Ward oversaw activities with help from instructors as girls and boys earned points for attendance activity and leadership.
State Police arrested Hewitt and Coe on August 19 for stealing 160 gallons of gasoline from a Bré he at the West Acton Station. Concord officials, led by Chief Michael Foley, traced the theft through the work of road Inspector Edward Mi Conord. The suspects hid the gas three miles away and planned a trip to California. They did not appeal the sentence.
