G Clayton Greene of Triangle Farm won third prize in the 1956 Massachusetts DHIA members contest sponsored by National Dairy Products Corp for excellence in dairy cattle production. The Jersey herd produced 9230 pounds milk and 547 pounds butterfat per cow this year, up 2462 and 175 over 1954 56. Prof Clarence Parsons presented the award at Worcester County Farmers Field Day in Rutland.

Police recover prisoner from Baltimore transfer
Concord patrolmen Charles F. Boardman and John C. Dolan Jr returned home about midnight Monday after traveling to Baltimore to fetch a prisoner discharged from jail there. A warrant hung over the suspect for larceny from a Concord girl and he was bound over for grand jury action. He is jailed in East Cambridge awaiting the grand jury.
