Polish Society Picnic To Be Held On Taft Grounds
Maynard Pets Mutual Aid Society hosts its annual picnic on Taft avenue grounds off Great Roach Sunday starting about noon. Contests for all ages, Polish and American dishes, and a public entertainment program are planned. Committee leaders include Brooslaw Sokowski, John Kulik, and Antonio Kitowicz. if rain, the event moves to the following Sunday August 25 at the same grounds.

Sailor Muscato Returns Home Between Cruises
A M H 3 Joseph N Muscato spent a few days with his parents at 2 Belknap court Concord after a Cuba cruise and before a seven month Mediterranean voyage. He then returned to Orcan Beach Virginia to rejoin his unit V F 41 which had departed on the U S S Innee and will return in March 1944.

Littleton Reunion Draws Pairchild-Currier Kinfolk
More than 40 members of the Pairchild Currier families gathered for the annual reunion at Mr and Mrs George B Caldwell home in Kingstreet on a Sunday with perfect summer weather. Attendees came from Littleton Concord Lynn Billinga Bedford North Reading Revere Peabody. Picnic lunch and games were enjoyed. Stow committee considers three school building options
The Stow School Building Committee plans talks with state officials to choose a building program.
