Taft Sets Water Limits for Niagara Falls Power
Secretary Taft issued orders on permitted water withdrawal for power at Niagara Falls. Readouts grant 8600 cfs to Niagara Falls Power Co and 4000 cfs to Niagara Power Co, with 500 cfs from the Erie Canal and 333 cfs from the canal lower level at Lockport. The Ontario and Niagara Falls Power companies receive specified horsepower from Canadian sources, under a three year trial with possible extension.
