Miss Rosalie Shea and Miss Sadie Bent visit and travel between Mansfield Dorchester Maine and Worcester.Residents plan lawn party West Acton. St George Episcopal church cornerstone set with ceremonies. A New Hampshire milliner and many Maynard visitors noted. Reports of yachting trips, a building boom, and local te a circ uses. A horse accident near Patrick Call’s barn is reported.

The Unitarian church opened for preaching with Rev. C. W. Heizer of Wayland to preach this month. Emma Stone died in California and her funeral was held at her home with Rev. Clarence Rouse officiating. J. G. Miller from Pinkerton academy becomes Sudbury's new school superintendent and high school principal, moving to occupy John Eaton residence and starting duties on Sept 3 as schools reopen.

Mr A A Snyder superintendent of the Winnesheik Poor Farm reports that Robert Leach used two boxes of De Witts Witch Hazel Salve to cure a large running leg sore after months of physician care without relief.
