Four displays open at the Concord Antiquarian House including a colonial to Civil War paper collection and a new gunflint exhibit. The flints were found since 1932 by Reais L. Smith and William Tolman near Liberty Street during Indian relics searches. Superintendent Michael J. Dee commends nurse William J. Searle for fighting off three prisoners during an attempted escape at the Massachusetts Reformatory in West Concord.
