The Bedford Dramatic club presented The Magistrate in the town hall over two nights under Mr. Pitman direction. A full house praised the cast led by Mr Webber with Mrs Bartlett and Miss Parker, with strong support from the Bedford and Somerville clubs. The performance netted fifty dollars and featured a gala orchestral program and roses for the cast.

Born in Concord to unknown parents, she spent her early life in local households before marriage to George Chadbourne in Gorham. Her legacy includes the esteem of those who knew her and the family of Shattuck descendents.
