Jim DeNormandie, introduced previously, spoke on Farm Labor Shortage in Massachusetts representing the Division of Live Stock Disease Control, noting losses to poultry hogs and cattle and the need for farm labor supervisors and school cooperation.

200 Chickens Lost in Bia West Fire Incident
Firefighters from West Concord station responded at 2 a m to a blaze involving two buildings and a shed. About 200 chickens were killed or missing in the blaze and authorities are investigating the incident as theft may have begun prior to the fire.
