Community cleans woods around Emerson Hospital
In a second Sunday effort, town residents and hospital groups clear dense brush near Emerson Hospital to reduce fire risk. Henry Murray and the Tree Department cut large trees while the Emerson Hospital Aid Society serves refreshments. A 124 foot wide fire access path is created through the surrounding woods to reach all meadow areas.
