The Swordfish biplane is praised as a reliable Royal Navy workhorse, praised for slow but effective torpedo attacks and rugged endurance in diverse theaters. It highlights its slender craft with fabric wings and three open cockpits and recalls missions from Taranto to the North Atlantic showing the plane’s crucial role.
