Easter Services Bring Overflowing Church to Christ Masses
Lenten observances at St. Bridget's drew record crowds through Holy Week with three Easter Masses. A solemn high mass at 10 30 was led by Rev. Walter Roché aided by deacon Rev Charles ué and subdeacon Rev George, as master music by A A Hilferty featured Cal seph Dineen Misses O'Donne and James Farrell. Easter Pageant and Congregational Church Revival
The Easter services featured a large Congregational church gathering with Rev Alfred Stone delivering a message on Life Eternal. Gertrude H Rideout performed with Easter music and the choir sang pieces by Turnr and Wooler. Twenty two new members joined by confession or by letter from several area churches. The Easter pageant The Consecration of Sir Galahad, written by Eugene Rodman Shippen and Elizabeth Shipper, played to a full church with elaborate costumes and lighting.

The Maynard Citizens Committee, elected by townspeople last December to aid families in unemployment, reports relief work done quietly and without publicity. About 100 people were helped, with aid including food clothing fuel and emergency care. Donations supported humane relief, and contributors are thanked as the report concludes and continues on page two.
