History of St Bridget's Parish Traced by White Cross Guild
The White Cross guild held its regular meeting in Riverside hall. A history lecture by Mrs Mary Horan traced St Bridget's Parish from early mass in homes to its 1884 church dedication and growth through successive pastors, including Fr Crowe, Fr Kililea, Fr Browne, and current clergy. The piece notes town changes, civic improvements, and a cosmopolitan population.
