Bedford Murder Mystery Believed Solved in May Case

Bedford authorities link the Bryson Grant murder to the suicide of Harold Benedict in Boston with state police confirming the same weapon fired both men. Grant, 59, was found shot in the Wyman road brook near Cambridge while Benedict, 23, died after barricading at a Boston hotel. The motive may be robbery as Grant had cashed his paycheck and his wallet and keys were missing. A motorist identified Benedict as a hitchhiker near Bedford, placing him near the scene, though no witnesses confirm seeing him there.
