The annual conference of the North Methodist churches met today in Melrose. Rev Marshall, pastor, and attendees received a special service on Sunday evening. Contributions totaled $1035.
The junior class schedules its annual prom on May 1 in the school auditorium with Miss Ruth Bradley as advisor. Prom committee led by president Gerald Spratt includes Anna Higgins, Charlotte King, Catherine Hoffman, Ajil Kajaxander, Anthony Lubin, Walter Wasuik and Walter Whalen.
Concord high school staged three short plays featuring Miss Gertrude Rideout as dramatic coach. The Violin Maker of Cremona highlighted youth talent with Ralph Verrill as Taddeo Ferrari and Mary Daniels as his daughter. A Wedding centered on a lost collar button in a country house bedroom.
