Chancellor rules against lease of East Tennessee line
Knoxville November 24 Chancellor Gibson enjoins the East Tennessee Virginia and Georgia Railway from ratifying the recent lease to the Richmond and Danville Railway. The ruling bars any transfer of property or operation under the lease while directing the ETSV&G to resume full control. If ETSV&G fails to comply a receiver may be appointed and future action hinges on court findings.
