East Tennessee Teachers Meet Honors Dr Schurman
The seventh annual East Tennessee Teachers Association closed with 600 teachers present from multiple counties. Knox led attendance with 145. officers were elected including J L Brooks president and Hodge Mathes secretary. Dr Bovard and Dr Schurman of Cornell spoke, praising thorough education and practical teaching. Resolutions were adopted as the session adjourned.
