Jonesboro Sheriff Sale of Land in Washington County Tennessee

Two sheriff sales in Washington County Tennessee foreclose judgments against A J Miller and Abe Bargner. The first sale on the Lot Day of March 1895 offers Miller's ninety five acre tract in the eighteenth district, bounded by Propaton Williams Wrightaman and Willans, to satisfy two judgments from 1894 and 1904 totaling 198.44 and 20.15 dollars plus costs, with homestead rights noted. The second sale on the Lot Day of March 1895 offers Abe Bargner’s land in the first district described by metes and bounds, totaling about 27.24 acres, to satisfy J Stout’s administration debt of 128.95 dollars plus costs, also subject to homestead rights. Both sales are at the Jonesboro courthouse, cash in hand, with sheriff's fees listed.
