Nashville reports that the Commercial club has stopped serving liquor and other clubs may follow. Judge A B Neil backs action if discussed in the Elks club and a meeting is planned. Rumors say Hermitage Club may also abolish liquor service amid potential injunction under nuisance laws.
Washington July 14 The Voting Trust for Southern Railway Company stock, in existence since June 1894, is dissolved. Trustees state the system has grown from scattered single tracks to an efficient double tracked main line from Washington to Atlanta with strong financials and plans for liberal capital.

Miss Edith Campbell of Johnson City visits Misse Mollie Ross at Newmansville. The county court redistricted Greene County by party vote to favor Republicans, sparking accusations of gerrymandering. Advertisements praise Sloan's Liniment and Bucklen's Arntca for pains and sores.
