Maine Battle Ship Raised After Explosion

Havana February 3 The Maine’s after section, nearly half the ship, was floated today after water was admitted to the cofferdam and a mud-embedded hull freed. The hull proved watertight though stern-low and deck weights shifted. Three bodies were found in the bow section during exploration amid debris and dense fog of recovery work.
