Whiskey Did It Jonesboro Man Dies After Drinking Poisonous Whiskey

John Fergawn came to Jonesboro yesterday and drank poisonous whiskey until night. He rode home seven to eight miles away, took the wrong road, and was found benumbed by the roadside. He died shortly after being taken to a nearby house. Some blame a fall from horse, others say whiskey and cold caused his death. He was about thirty, married, and a good citizen.
