William C. Chilton of Comanche will represent Comanche County on the Advisory Council for the Southwestern Medical Foundation for the coming year. R. R. Gilbert of Dallas says the council chair is a banker and notes the foundation aims to improve health and fight disease across Texas and neighboring states.
Pvt Prentice F Couch, son of Mrs. W R Carlisle of Sidney, is serving with American forces in Germany. He has been there two months and serves in an anti aircraft gun battalion. He will be overseas for 29 months after basic training at Fort Bliss and service since February 2.
