Saga of Stephenville Hospital and Clinic Founders
The Stephenville Hospital and Clinic grew from J. C. Terrell and family efforts after medical training in Galveston. The facility began in a hotel unit, expanded in 1935, and continued enlargements through 1969 to a 125 bed complex with 200 daily outpatients, 7 doctors, 133 staff, and long-serving nurses and staff.
