The Luker family reunion gathered August 2 at Lake Eanes Park Comanche with 66 relatives and five visitors. Activities included a lunch and barbecue, singing in memory of loved ones, and a year’s births and marriages report by Tidarene Luker. Neil Spencer and family of Big Spring and Captain Don Spencer with family from Fairfield California visited their parents Mr. and Mrs. Tom Spencer in Newburg. Captain Spencer has completed three months at Maxwell AFB Alabama and travels to Colorado Springs before returning to Travis AFB California. The couple will visit Betta’s parents at Broadmore prior to resuming duties as pilot of a hospital C 131 plane. A. P. Cox and Mrs Cox spent two weeks vacation starting in Houston with their daughter and son-in-law Tara Burns and family.
