San Angelo Man Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances
W A Guthrie prominent San Angelo citizen and manager of the water and light and San Angelo Oil and Gas companies was found dead in the South Concho river below the city limits. He had both legs and left arm tied with rope and no violent marks were seen. Authorities pursue leads as possible murder is suspected. Guthrie had lived in San Angelo over thirty five years and earlier worked as a newspaper man.
