Referendum on Upland Cotton Quotas Set for December
The December 2 through 6 period is set for the upland cotton marketing quota referendum for the 1969 crop. Ballots will be mailed to cotton farm operators, with a two thirds approval needed to activate the payment program. Farm acreage allotments are at 65 percent of the farm allotment, with price support loans available for early signups and eligible producers.
