Mrs. J. H. Prater of Comanche exhibits Rhode Island Reds in fall shows earning first premiums and blue ribbons at the German fair Eastland and Dublin Fair. Her careful trap nesting culling and two pen matings produced prize birds after starting with a $10 backyard flock. A $50 cockerel from E W Mayhood of Missouri is planned for next season.
