The Comanche County Pension Club will meet Saturday at 3:00 PM in the County Courtroom, Comanche. Secretary Effie Shannon says a report on the new State Pension and guest Omar Burleson will attend. All are invited. farm workers earning at least $100 yearly will be covered by Social Security in 1955.
The De Leon District Singing Convention will meet at Round Grove Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon November 9 with Willis Quartet and Mr and Mrs Wallace of Dallas performing for the 11 o clock service and afternoon singing.
