Summer School Starts Monday in Comanche Public Schools
The district will offer summer classes at the high school in Civics, American History, English, river education, and junior high subjects. Fred Curry and Mrs. William Boyd will teach core courses, with driver education and makeup work for grades seven and eight. Tuition ranges from 15 to 35 dollars with varying hours per course.

Cornsalk Borer Abundant in Texas Peanut Areas
Texas Agriculture Commissioner John C. White reports record catches of lesser cornstalk borer moths from the De Leon Research Laboratory light trap program. The second flight began May 15 with a third expected around June 10, urging peanut farmers to monitor and submit moths at the Texas Department of Agriculture Research Laboratory in De Leon.
