Beaty grandson of Mr and Mrs Walter M Grigs will graduate from the U S Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland June 7 He is a graduate of W B Ray High School Corpus Christi and attended Del Mar College He will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Marine Corps and begin training at Quantico Virginia in August His parents are Mr and Mrs J Truett Beaty of Corpus Christi

USDA Sets Wool Payment Rate

All Day Singing Scheduled Sunday At Round Grove
Round Grove Baptist Church near De Leon will host its annual all day singing on Sunday May 28 with Dean Gardner in charge. The event, organized since about 1915, draws many attendees from a wide area. Gardner says outstanding singers will attend and new Gospel Song Books will be available. Attendees are invited to bring dinner and stay for the full program from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
