Four Comanche area graduates from Texas A M University receive bachelor and advanced degrees in May ceremonies. Tarleton State University grants six Comanche students degrees as Gov Briscoe delivers commencement address. Other locals earn degrees from Houston Clear Lake City, McMurry College and Central Texas Commercial College with academic honors and recognitions.
The STATE OF TEXAS issues a publication citation to Larry Dean Underwood in Comanche County. The case seeks termination of the parent child relationship and adoption for Pamela Annette Underwood Aletha Jean Underwood and Sabin Dean Underwood. The defendant must answer by 10 a.m. the first Monday after 42 days from June 20 1977.
