Hugh Clarke son of Mr and Mrs D G Clarke of this city and a Texas A M graduate has enlisted in the officers reserve corps and reports to Ft Sheridan Ind for training. For a year he worked in Detroit at Packard Auto plant overseeing inspection of finished parts and joined the reserve there. He served as second lieutenant of G Company in his junior year and was color bearer in his junior year, elected by his company. County Log Rolling Session Postponed to June Eight

Cunningham visit follows Spannell trials in Coleman
Mr and Mrs Tom Cunningham and their daughter from San Angelo visited former neighbors Friday after Tom Cunningham finished taking evidence in Spannell s second Coleman trial. He also presented the evidence in Spannell s first trial in San Angelo last fall where Spannell was acquitted of murdering his wife. The Coleman trial resulted in Spannell s conviction and a five year sentence for killing Colonel Butler.
