Overcrowded mental hospitals delay admission for up to six months. Campaign organizations have formed in 44 Texas counties led by R. L. Wheelock of Corsicana to raise 148,796 dollars in 1953. Citizens are urged to donate funds or time to Mental Health via the postmaster in Texas.
