Texida Oil to drill near Comanche on Tippitt pool land
Texida Oil Company moves rig timbers from Lee Campbell farm to a site on the Alex Roberson farm, one and a half miles east of Comanche on Dublin Highway. The drill will begin as soon as derrick and machinery are installed, with P. L. Tippitt supplying near 300 acres and casing. Tippitt also oversees arrangements to speed completion, and Texida’s vice president F. Scellworth says the well will start soon and be finished promptly.
