The Mazurek family from Falirview rebuilt their farm with soil conservation starting 1926 after moving from Bandera to Comanche. Their land improved yields, with peanuts up from 15 to 50 bushels per acre and oats from 10 to 40, while fencing, windmills, and water pumps supported operations.
