A long readable reminiscence lists residents and visitors to Comanche County. It notes B D Starnes signing to teach at Union Grove, Walter Ross from Proctor and Proctor Mercantile, land surveyor R G Armstrong visiting Lindale, and many local figures including teachers, merchants, a postmaster Robert M Garner and his wartime service, J A Exbert’s hotel, and Dr Houghton's irrigation rich estate.
