Desperado Henry Ware and Hazel Dell’s rough days
G A Beeman recalls Henry Ware and the Hazel Dell era marked by outlaws, gunfire, and barroom tension. He credits Ware with aiding lawmen during a feud with the Davis gang and notes Ware’s later moves to Fort Worth and Langtry where he ran saloons, while praising Captain Wright and Jeff Greene as pillars of order.
