Comanche Freshman Track Team Wins Goldthwaite Meet
The Comanche Freshman track team edged Goldthwaite 13444 to 108 in an eight team meet Friday. Ray Dudley won two events, Cy Baxter claimed a 9 feet 6 inches pole vault, and the Braves earned multiple firsts and seconds with strong relay placings.

Mrs Riley Hosts ESA Sorority Meeting in Comanche
Mrs Lou Riley was hostess at the Episcopal parish house for E S A Sorority members. Committees were named for a district meeting in Comanche on April 11 with about seventy ladies expected led by the state president. Ten chapters compose the district. Starting Monday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gustine FFA Rodeo Arena, Gustine Rodeo contestants and others will practice barrel racing and roping.
