Comanche Oil Company Plans Leases And Test Wells
The Comanche Oil Company announces formation with officers from DeLeon and Sweetwater areas and plans to lease about 13 000 acres between known gas wells to sink test wells in the coming spring and summer. A 2500 foot drill from Sparta Iron Works is ordered to advance development. The plan warns investors that profits depend on oil or gas discovery and that risk remains even as potential gains are highlighted.
