A total of 650 patrons visited Comanche Schools during Public School Visitation Week, with 190 at Ward, 93 at Grammar, and 27 at High School on a school day. About 410 watched a music program in the High School Auditorium Friday night, as interest in the week grows and the plan aims to inform patrons about school progress.
Funeral services for Tol G Beckham 83 were held at the First Methodist Church in Zephyr with burial in Zephyr Cemetery. A retired grocer, he moved to Zephyr 60 years ago. Survivors include his wife a son Rudolph Beckham Fort Worth five daughters Opal Couch Mildred Woods Mae Williams Louise Davis and two others three sisters in Kentucky 16 grandchildren two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
